In a very competitive and entertaining first half, the Woods showed plenty of attacking prowess and scored with an excellent strike from Myles Stephenson and a Mark Stafford header, getting on the end of a Julian Smith cross.
However, some defensive errors allowed Casuals into the game and having been all-tied a 2-2 at the break, the home side then notched two early second-half goals to give the Woods a mountain to climb.
Northwood forced their way back into the game when a dangerous Kyle Matthews cross was knocked past his own goalkeeper by a Casuals defender. But then with Woods pushing forward looking for the goal that would earn them a point, the home side notched a killer fifth to round off the scoring at 5-3.
